A tribute to Millie Bachofer and her memorable life

Millie Bachofer was born May 1932 in Cawker City, KS where she was raised on her parents farm. She worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anethesist for 30 years and was one of her greatest accomplishments. Millie married Frank Bachofer and had three wonderful children and was grandmother to four grandchildren. With a plethora of hobbies that included baking, gardening, sewing and traveling to name a few. Millie will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family and friends.

Because someone we love is in heaven, there's a little bit of heaven in our home.

Early Life

Millie was born and raised in Cawker City, Kansas to Matthew and Elizabeth Hake. She went to college and majored in nursing and graduated as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Eventually relocating to Sacramento, California working 31 years at kaiser.

Parents & Siblings

Millies was raised by her parents Elizabeth and Matthew Hake. Millie had five siblings, Katherine, Raymond, Junior, Melvin, and Dorthy.

Millie and Frank

Milllie and Frank were married December 1, 1956 and shared 63 loving and happy years together!

Children

Millie gave birth to three children, Anita, Lynn ( Dana Covey )  and Mark.

Grandchildren

Millie had four grandchildren. Ashley, Chelsea, Lauren and Matthew. She loved them dearly!

Travel & Friends

Millie was an avid travel, having visited over a dozen countries with her husband Frank and friends.  She particularly enjoyed taking cruises and always brought back a souvenir from every country she visited. Millie made many friends throughout the years through her involvement as a member of the Geranium club and the Arden Park Gardening club.

Hobbies

Millie was an avid baker who cooked and canned a variety of vegetables and jams. She would enter her baked goods and candies in the annual California State Fair where she placed first in numerous categories and best of show awards. She was also passionate about gardening, sewing and cake decorating.
